Experience: Atleast 4-10 years' experience in SCM role in a reputed organization. Warehouse experience will be preferred.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced supply chain manager to  ensure our supply chain and logistics operations function properly.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with other departments, such as Production, QC & Logistic , to create effective business plans, so teamwork skills are important. You should also have experience in warehouse & Inventory management, as well as great leadership and communication ability.

Responsibilities:

 Your responsibilities include ensuring the minimum stock inventories with on time deliveries of our entire product range.

  • Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the efficient supply goods.
  • Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Directs and coordinates Corporate supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
  • Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
  • Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
  • Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
  • Collaborates with Production department to determine best practice for Minimum inventory with fast production to keep on time delivery.
  • Support proper utilization of ERP system & keep all process intact.
  • Member of the operations staff, responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.

 

  • Create the company’s supply chain strategy
  • Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
  • Evaluate and report on KPIs
  • Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
  • Maintain supply chain inventory and records
  • Train and guide employees
  • Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
  • Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
  • Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
  • Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals

 

Qualifications / Skills:

Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges

  • Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Previous experience as a supply chain profile or in a similar field
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Working experience of relevant software (ERP)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving
  • A strategic and analytical mind
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field

Education, Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience

3+ years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience
