Job Description:
The Area Sales Manager - Projects in Construction Chemicals is responsible for driving sales and business growth within a defined geographical region. This role involves managing key customer relationships, identifying and developing new project opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of the sales strategy for construction chemical products used in projects like commercial, residential, and industrial developments.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and execute a regional sales strategy for construction chemical products focused on large-scale projects (e.g., concrete admixtures, waterproofing, sealants, adhesives).

Manage and grow the sales pipeline for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.

Identify key market segments and prioritize opportunities that align with company goals and regional demand.

Set and achieve sales targets, ensuring revenue growth and profitability in the assigned area.

Project Management & Relationship Building:

Cultivate relationships with architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors involved in large construction projects.

Provide technical support and product recommendations for construction projects, ensuring optimal product application.

Serve as the primary point of contact for major construction projects and ensure the smooth delivery of products and services.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Gather customer feedback and ensure that the company’s offerings remain competitive and relevant to market demands.

Provide ongoing sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the management team, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.

Solid understanding of the construction industry, project lifecycle, and key stakeholders (e.g., contractors, engineers, architects).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience in sales management or project sales within the construction or construction chemicals industry.

Experience working with project-based clients in construction and a strong understanding of the construction process.

Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
Working Conditions:
